Hello all,

These are the last three days for submissions in the 2014 annual ProZ.com translation contest, Celebrations.

At the time of this post, 1,481 translators have participated, and there are 2,006 entries in 202 language pairs, making this the largest ProZ.com translation contest to date. Thanks to everyone who has participated so far, and to those putting in their entries now!

If you have already submitted an entry, these are the last three days to tweak your translation if you wish.

If you have not made an entry yet, you have until 3pm GMT on July 31st to do so. Be sure not to wait until the last moment, to ensure your entry makes it into the contest. Remember that you can enter a translation entry and edit it online as much as you want, right up until the submission deadline.

If you have submitted an entry in a language pair that has received fewer than three entries, that pair may go into extended submissions at the end of this phase. Every effort will be made to bring in at least three entries in those pairs, so that they can move to the next round. You can help with this. If you know colleagues who work in that pair who may be interested in participating, spread the word! If you need help with this, feel free to contact me directly at jared@proz.com and let's put our heads together on it (I'll be doing what I can on this end to reach the same goal).

Thanks once again to all participants, and good luck in the contest!

Jared
