Anne Diamantidis, has just joined ProZ.com and will be working out of the La Plata office. She speaks French and German and spent a part of her life in Austria. She graduated from a Translation College in France and specialized in financial translation. She has been a Student member of ProZ.com , and a Moderator of the site - Students Forum and English to French and French KudoZ. She has attended 3 Conferences between 2007 and 2008 as a speaker – running sessions on how to get the most out of ProZ.com. Anne moved all the way from France and her dream upon graduating was to work at ProZ.com. So please all take a moment to welcome her to the team.

Anne will be part of the newly created Outside Sales team and will be our Conference Coordinator.

WELCOME ABOARD ANNE

Welcome, Anne! Jan 26, 2009

What an exciting career move! Best wishes.

One question: Drew says you speak French and German. I have to assume--English as well? Is that supposed to go without saying at ProZ?

Congratulations Anne and thanks for the input at conferences Jan 26, 2009

I hope you'll continue with your presentations - I was at Aix and Paris, and both times yours clashed with other ones I needed more.

Don't forget to eat well in the US - I hear it's not as easy as in France, although I can't say for sure as I've never been there.

(I don't want all my fellow Europeans to hate me, but I have to admit that it's quite nice to leave a snowy and iced Europe and arrive in hot and sunny La Plataicon_razz.gif).
