Translators without Borders (TwB) has just released their December 2012/January 2013 newsletter, including:

An interview with Ashutosh Mitra, an English Hindi translator based in Allahabad, India. Ashutosh is TwB's top contributor in any language pair outside the English French pairs and he is also the language lead for Hindi in the WikiProject Medicine.

TwB's Access to Knowledge Awards, a new annual award program created by the board of Translators without Borders to celebrate and honor TwB's volunteers and donors. As was reported in a previous thread, certified PRO member Ildiko Santana and founder and president Henry Dotterer were among the winners

News on the amazing Health Translators’ Training Center in Kenya

The fast track path for TwB volunteers, especially those who are part of Certified PRO Network.

Some TwB statistics on words delivered, clients, language pairs and volunteers.

Thanks once more to our amazing volunteers, who donated over 7 million words to humanitarian organizations in 2011 and 2012!

Kind regards,
Enrique Cavalitto
