I recently noticed, as opposed to just doing a search on one word in KudoZ glossaries, that you can also access entire member glossaries at

What a list that is and great resource too! Members have some really interesting and specific glossaries out there, from music, to oil and gas, to sailing, civil aviation, and even equestrian terms!

It\'s quite a long list though encompassing all member glossaries for all language pairs. Perhaps at some point ProZ could implement a search for specific language pairs on that page, that way we could just look at the glossaries in the language pairs that would apply to us.

On another note, if that wouldn\'t already be a big enough undertaking, perhaps at some point we could also create a list of internet resources, that is, websites with glossaries we have found on the internet for our language pairs, and keep a list of them with our profile page, much in the same way we can for our own glossaries. There have been times when I\'ve been in need of finding a specialized glossary, as I\'m sure we all have been, and have typed something into the ProZ \"search\" button or referred to the Translator Resource forum in hopes of finding a glossary to help me out. But there is also a long and comprehenisive list of topics on that forum to browse through when you seem to be in a dire hurry to find what you are looking for.

Not that the ProZ administration isn\'t busy enough as it is to implement something like this, but just a few ideas for future reference that I think would help members make even more use out of ProZ than we already do. There are so many resources available to us at our fingertips through ProZ as there is, and I don\'t know what I\'d do without them! But I just thought these ideas would help condense that information and make it more readily and easily searchable. icon_smile.gif

Any thoughts?

I agree with Jennie. The page has 1,702 different kinds of glossary, and it is too much for one page. The page itself has 388K. I have a computer with a very fast CPU, but it took a while to display this page.

The language pair search should be implemented.
