Reference Material and integration of various glossaries into Trados 2015 Sep 29, 2015

Dear Mrs. Brauer,

Thank you very much for the great refeence material. Unfortunately I cannot open the PDF data in the folder "__MACOSX".
In addition, I would like to know how I can integrate various glossaries in banking and finance in Trados 2015 in an efficient way. Do you also know some glossaries for the language pairs German/Chinese or English/Chinese, especially in banking and finance. Thanks a lot.

Kind regards,

Weiwei Wang

Mac OSX file folder Sep 29, 2015

The designation MAC osx is a file folder....if you have the 3 PDF's in the zip file then you're all set. The contents in the MAc OSX file folder are just duplicates of those PDF's

Thanks

Drew

Trados integration Sep 30, 2015

Dear Weiwei. Trados has several ways of integrating glossaries. I would recommend you contact their support line directly or go to their website to the help desk. Also, there are hundreds of forums of Trados-supporters There are several forums in ProZ where you could ask specifics. Unfortunately this session does not cover Trados in detail and it would take a lot of time to go over it, but there are many resources on internet and forums you can use. For example: http://www.proz.com/forum/sdl_trados_support-65.html

German Chinese glossaries Sep 30, 2015

Hello, Weiwel.

German-Chinese is a hard combination. I was able to find several links, not specifically to finance, but you can start your search there: (1) http://www.freebyte.com/dictionary/ (2) http://mymemory.translated.net/english/ (3) http://multilingualbooks.com/onlinedicts-german.html (4) http://www.chinacsrproject.org/Resources/Resource_List_EN.asp?LstFlt_D1=1 (5) http://www.proz.com/personal-glossary/123680?glossary=22757
