Aveţi idee dacă există vreo sursă oficială pentru denumirile ţărilor în română, vreo lucrare elaborată de Academia Română, de Ministerul de Externe etc.?

În ce surse căutaţi când aveţi de tradus liste imense de state?

Eu folosesc ca sursă http://www.mae.ro/index.php?unde=doc&id=29606&idlnk=&cat=

Totuşi, unele denumiri de ţări nu sunt actualizate (ex.: Malaezia pe situl MAE şi Malaysia în DOOM2), aşa că verific şi în DOOM2. Oricum, le introduc în glosar pe măsură ce le traduc, aşa că depun efortul de căutare o singură dată.
