Hi,
I am in New York and got power appr. an hour ago. Looks like I am getting back water. Feels great!!!!

Hope everybody in safe and feeling much better today than last night. I can testify that in my neighborhood there was no looting, people were sensitive, helping each other and checking on their friends, co-workers, etc. I believe 9/11 taught us a lesson in humanity and humility. We live in this modern world where our entire existance is suddenly threatened "in a blink of an eye" (as one of high level power authority guy said on the radio) No water, no phone service, no elevator to take you up and down(even on the 24th floor), and this list can go on, and on, and on.

А я вот никак не могу к подруге в Йью-Йорк пробиться, она Вам соседка, так что Вы меня порадовали вдвойне подтверждением очевидца о достойной реакции нью-йоркцев (не то, чтобы я чего-то другого ожидала, но все равно приятно) и о том, что реально идет возвращение в норму. Всё нормально, старик, всё в порядке!

Всё вроде нормализировалось. Пока. Там будет видно. Жаль "паувау" пришлось перенести. Но лишь до следующих выходных.
