Hello, everybody!
Sorry for writing in English, but I speak a poor russian.
I would like to be able to read the Russian forum and the Russian kupdoz questions. What I need to do in order to see cirillic fonts on my PC?
Thank a lot in advance

Annamaria

You have to set the encoding Jul 11, 2004

in your Browser to Cyrillic. IE usually does it automatically (if all page is in Russian, if only part, it also has to be set manually), in other Browsers, have to be set by hand, e.g., I use Opera, then View>Encoding>Cyrillic>Windows-1251

In your Control Panel or other control window you can find KEYBOARD option (add there Russian)
and also the option of font managing (of you read Cyr fonts voa your browser, then your system has some Cyr fonts(TNR, Arial, Verdana, etc.).
Well, as soon as you have instakked the RUs keyboard, you may use either layout of keys or standard one.
I am printing in what follows all the small RU letters in their alphabetic order:)

f,dult`;pbqrkvyjghcnea[qxioms]'.z

So, if within typing these Lat chars you get Russian small chars in their alphabetic order,
абвгдеёжзийклмнопрстуфхцчшщьыъэюя
then you have exactly the standard layout:)
As for phonetic layout, please search Inet for "Russian phonetic keyboard layout" and you then can:
1. Print via your printerthe table with chars' layout
2. Use this table then as a reference for quicker typing.
Good luck!!!
Yours,
Tagir.
