I downloaded a file, believing that it was an antivirus and in fact was a virus. It is a fake XP antivirus 2008. It keeps poping up banners, asking me to buy a licence. I tried to delete the file xpa.exe but I could not. I have Windows XP, Nod32, CCleaner and SpyRemover, which did not detecte it. How can I delete this virus? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
