Although I am aware that there is a real translator named Andrew James, this guy is impersonating him.

Andrew James andycable10@yahoo.com

Hello,
I am Andrew,I got your email from the website that you are a translator.
I have this article i want you to help me translate from (English--Moldovan).
I would like to know your terms and how much it would cost for the article?
Hope to hear from you as soon as possible.

Sincerely
Andrew

Notice that he signs Andrew, but the email address is Andy Cable (Ohio State?)

Stay safe

One could actually presume that a person with an English name should be able to produce slightly better English, no?

And... he apparently forgot to name the site that you are a "translator on".

Well caught.

I got it Jan 20, 2013

Hi guys,
Good catch and thanks for raising the issue.

I got the same thing on Friday, except for "Iceland" instead of Icelandic in place of Moldovan
Not really a high-end scammer.
Cheers,
Halli

P.s. The article can be found on
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_peace

and I found a part of it for sale as a college paper, yesterday.
