I've just received an email from someone called "Paul" that says:

"I am willing to employ a competent individual to become my Part-time Personal Assistant.
Would you be interested?
If yes, email me and i will respond with a detailed job
description."

I'm laughing so hard....

Cooking, feeding his children and cats, driving his car, secretarial services, phone calls and computer maintenance. Nothing hilariousicon_frown.gif

Everyone got it Jan 11, 2014

And by "everyone" I don't just mean everyone on proZ but pretty much everyone. I got it through proZ, my wife got it through LinkedIn, I saw it popping up on Facebook and on Monday I'll check with my nan to see if she had anything in the post.

I am kind of intrigued, though, what might be behind this.

Sorry, Mailand... Jan 11, 2014

That wasn't my intention. But look at it from the bright side: it probably just means that you have a better spam filter than some of us.icon_wink.gif

I think we should all apply to Paul !

Seriously though - what kind of scam is this and how did Paul harvest all our email addresses?

What's he up to?

Just registered on ProZ and sent a mass mail to all in the UK, and possibly beyond.

The profile now appears to have been removed.

What can I say? Jan 11, 2014

I actually got an email just now saying that. It was just so empty and barmy and everything. Needless to say, I deleted it straight away.
