As you may already be aware, CV scams and translators' impersonations are becoming a major issue in the Translation Industry.

As you may already be aware, CV scams and translators' impersonations are becoming a major issue in the Translation Industry.

Happy to help if I count as a company, but I will not skew your statistics if not

I am VAT registered, but the one of the smallest of small companies in the system here!

For the purpose of this survey, a "translation company" is a person/company who outsources translation work to translators on a regular basis.

24% of the companies HAVE SENT jobs to translator impersonators
32% of the companies DO NOT have a CV risk‐assessment function

It sounds like these are 2 areas where ProZ.com could proactively do a great deal to help 'educate' its translation agency customers — in a way that no individual translator could ever hope to do!
