WARNING!!!
I just received a mail from a Portuguese freelance translator informing me that someone (have no idea who that may be) is asking translators to perform tasks using the name of my company.
Although I'll contact the authorities right away, I thought it best to let you know ASAP.
The mail address they are using is not exactly the same as mine, as you can se:
oficiinadapalavra.lda@gmail.com, i.e., misspelled (intentionally, I would say) with two "ii".
Pls. be ware and, should you receive any mail from such an origin, pls. do kindly let me know.
Thank you very much.

Report it to Google Nov 24, 2017

You could try to report it to Google. I don't know if they will do anything, but here is the link:

Hello,

Thank you for reporting this. The email address used by the scammer has been blocked from using ProZ.com, and alert has been sent out through the Scam Alert center, https://www.proz.com/about/translator-scam-alerts . You can see the alert itself here: http://wiki.proz.com/wiki/index.php/Translator_scam_alert_reports#November_24.2C_2017:_Impersonation_of_translation_company_Oficina_da_Palavra

Stepping forward to report a known scammer is the best way to ensure they cannot scam other translators. Thank you for taking that action here.

Best regards,
Alejandro
