Hello!

My client sent me a document in excel format that I have to translate with Tag Editor.
How do I do to convert it for Tag Editor?
Do I need an INI file?
This will be the first time I use Tag Editor... I need some help!

Thank you

More details, please Apr 15, 2008

Hi Marion,
There is a note displayed when posting a new topic in this forum:

When asking for help, make sure that you:
- indicate the file format(s) involved
- specify each software package that is relevant to your posting, identifying the version with the *full* version number
- describe the step(s) or process(es) which have triggered the problem.
This will help others to help you.

If you have TagEditor 7.x or higher (possibly even 6.5.x), you should be able to open the Excel file in TagEditor. If you're working with an older version, that might not be possible.

Best regards,
Ralf

No INI file needed Apr 15, 2008

Hi Marion,
you don't need a specific INI file. TagEditor should be able to open your file even without it.
Just launch TagEditor, press Open and browse to your XLS file you want to open.
That's the entire trick.icon_smile.gif
