Hi,

I'm using:

1. TagEditor 7.5.0.756
2. Windows 2000 SP4

I am trying to open a Word doc document in TagEditor, but I get that error.

I tried to save as RTF and then as .Doc, but it didn't work.

Any ideas would more than welcome.

Thank you

would be, what I would suggest. The handling of footnotes/endnotes is rather flaky in Trados - as far as my experience goes - and if it is not too much text, I would do all that by hand.

regards

Vito

PS: the error can be due to some > and < combination of characters, fooling TRADOS into thinking it must be a bilingual text - or something equally crazy.

Thank you, Vito.

I followed your advice, because there was nothing else I could do.

Thank you again:-)
