Trados menu missing from top menu in Word 2003

I am using Word 2003 on Vista and have SDL Trados Freelance (the newest one).
The problem is that the Trados menu which contains Fix document and so on, is missing from the very top menu (File, Edit, View, Insert, Trados etc.), but the toolbar is still there, and Trados is working as such, except that I cannot fix documents once an errors happens or anything. I have tried enabling it via Plugins -Addins in Word.

On Word's menu bar: Jul 22, 2008

TOOLS > MACRO > MACROS > ADD > ALL ACTIVE TEMPLATE AND DOCUMENTS > RUN

This is the best way to keeping steady the Trados menu on Word's menu bar.

This seems to a be a problem with the Trados8.dot template used in Word. We have an article within the SDL knowledge base which should resolve this issue:

Using the search function would have helped faster Jul 22, 2008

There are a lot of similar topics here on ProZ - would you have searche for "Trados template", your problem would most probably be solved before you even wrot your post.

I had the same problem. Tadzio's solution worked fine!
