I am using Word 2007, SDL MultiTerm 2007 and SDL Trados 2006.
MultiTerm works fine on its own.
I have been trying to use Trados to translate Word files but when I just Click 'Open' the message 'end of paragraph not found' appears. Introducing breaks does not solve the problem.
What is more, when I am trying to activate 'term recognition' in Workbench I get a message that there was a problem with TW4Win.exe and it will be closed.

Could you suggest me how to deal with it and how to make Trados working?

Regards,
Ewelina

SDL Trados 2006 does not work with Word 2007 Jul 28, 2008

And I'm also wondering, if SDL Multiterm 2007 will cooperate properly.
What you certainly should do, if you want to work with Word 2007, is upgrading your SDL Trados to SDL Ttados 2007 SP2.
Beside that, to avoid errors try to register the software, using the "Register SDL Trados..." from the SDL International program group and "...self register...bat" (I don't remember the exact name) from installation folder of Multiterm.

SDL Trados 2006 and Microsoft Word 2007... Jul 28, 2008

Hello Ewlina,

Jerzy is correct; Word 2007 is not fully compatible with SDL Trados 2006. This is mostly due to the template differences between Word 2007 and former versions.

I would recommend you upgrade to SDL Trados 2007 for full compatibility between all three programs.

Also, the file path for the "#_SelfRegister_Desktop.bat" file is:

C:\Program Files\SDL International\MultiTerm 2007

Give it a try, I hope it helps.

Many Thanks,

I get the message:

RegAsm.exe - Application error
Application hasn't been properly innitiated (0xc0000135). Click OK to close application.

What should I do?

Windows Vista or XP?.. Jul 28, 2008

Hello Ewelina,

Are you using Windows XP or Vista? If you are using Windows Vista then you need to make sure you are using an administrator account, then run the file as an administrator by doing the following:

Right click on the "#_SelfRegister_Desktop.bat" file and select "Run as Administrator" from the menu.

I hope this helps.

Many Thanks,
