Hi all,

I'm trying to import a .TMX file that i've exported from WinAlign however the 'import' option is greyed out in workbench. I have the option when I create a new TM but i'd like to import the units into my existing TM.

Is this possible or do I have to create a new TM for every import I do?

Thanks in advance.

Mark

When in doubt, read the manual Aug 15, 2008

My SDL Trados 2007 Translator’s Workbench User Guide says on page 5-25:

When working with file-based translation memories, the Import command is only available when you open the translation memory in exclusive access mode.

Instructions on how to do that can be found on pages 11-5 through 11-6.

HTH,
Benjamin

I did check the manual but obviously not hard enough. Thanks for that.
