I'm using WinAlign for the first time to align two rather large word documents. I've gone through all the basic steps as demonstrated in a tutorial, but keep getting the error: "source/target delimiter not found"

As far as I understand, these are basic word files that have not been translated using Trados, so they shouldn't have delimiters anyway. Can anybody help me, I'm beginning to despair with Trados!!

I don't know the solution to your problem with WinAlign, but if you you have one of the more recent SDL Trados bundles, you can also use SDL Align, another alignment tool. It might be a bit more cumbersome to use, but hopefully it will work.
