invalid units

Trados V6

I have imported a TMX created from a txt file imported into Wordfast and exported as TMX, becuase I was having problems importing the txt file directly to Trados.

However, although Trados has read 55,000 translation units, it tells me that nearly 13,000 are invalid.

What does this mean, and what can I do?

Use a TMX checker, e.g.
http://www.maxprograms.com/freetools/tmxvalidator.html
Then correct your files in a good TXT/TMX editor.
The error si probably highly repetitive, so you will not be forced to fix manually your 13 000 units.
