Cannot switch off bilingual view in Word

Hello,

I'm working in Word 2003 + Trados 7. For some reason now I cannot switch off the display of unprintable characters. When I press the button, it only removes black symbols of paragraphs, tags and source segments stay visible anyway. Is there any way to return to monolingual view before cleaning the file?

Tools - Options - Hidden text Oct 28, 2008

Hi Ekaterina,

If you go to Tools - Options - and untick 'Hidden text' this should work.

the toolbar Oct 29, 2008

as long as any CAT-tool toolbar is active, you will see all characters (this is the default setting in many CATs).
