Trados 7 - TagEditor - Translate to Fuzzy stops at 100% Matches - Why?

"Translate to Fuzzy" in TagEditor should jump over 100% Matches, but often it doesn't.
I think, the same problem sometimes occurs in Word with Trados, but not so often.

Does anybody know a workaround?

Just found this! May 14, 2009

Thank Eduard. I had the same problem and since the Concordance window wasn't even open, I would have never thought of this. Trados never ceases to amaze me, and not in the good way.

Another workaround May 15, 2009

Hi,

when this happens, I only have to activate (click on) the Workbench Window once, then (click on) the Tageditor Window again. I don't need to close the concordance window.

HTH,
Erik

Just click on the Workbench window May 15, 2009

Yes, no need to close Concordance. Just click on the Workbench window. (Yeah, I agree, pretty stupid...)

Translate to fuzzy stops at 100% matches Jul 14, 2011

Neither of the two options works for me (Word 2010, Trados 2007 suite). In the previous Trados version it was indeed a matter of closing the concordance window, even when this was not open.
Any other suggestions to work around this issue?

Reference TM Nov 14, 2011

Could it be you have 2 TMs open at a time (1 for reference)?
In this case, if "translate to next fuzzy" arrives at a segment that has identical entries in both TMs, the software might be uncertain where to take the translation from

What the.... amazing! Clicking on that blasted window has just saved me hours of work, thank you!! I couldn't figure out why yesterday it had been working perfectly and today wasn't working at all.
