Missing language in the Create new TM dialogue box

When installing Trados I have selected 5 languages, and I can successfully open all my previously created memories in any of the language pairs. But for some reason one of the languages (Japanese) is absent in the list of languages (both source and target) when I try to create new Japanese TM for a specific project (still I can open already existing Japanese TMs). Could anyone please advise what can be the reason?
I have SDL Trados 2007 (8.0) (835)
