Hi.

I know there must be a setting somewhere for this, but I can't find it. I'm using Trados 2007.

I have a php file I'm trying to work with in Tag Editor. The original file has a line that reads:

}
if ($tiprand>3) { $tip"Blog about XX! Hey, it'll give you something to do tonight..."; } if ($tiprand==7) { $tip="Use our SMS widget. Place it in your blog and your readers can get the link to your mobile site in an SMS message for free."; }

and when I translate the text and save the php file, it changes all the quotation marks (like $tip"Blog about XX!) to " (}
if ($tiprand>3) { $tip="Blog about XX! Hey, it'll give you something to do tonight..."; } if ($tiprand==7) { $tip="Use our SMS widget. Place it in your blog and your readers can get the link to your mobile site in an SMS message for free."; }

So what it's doing is changing quotation marks to " ...

Is there a setting where I can get the program to stop doing this? It ruins the coding.

Thanks!
Sandra

TagEditor Option menu Jan 10, 2009

In TagEditor Option menu, deselect automatic conversion of tags for localization e.g. HTML codes.

Where is that? Jan 10, 2009

I go to the TagEditor Options menu and see nothing like that at all. Can you please be more specific on where I can find this?

Thanks.
