How to stop Word from repaginating?

While working with Trados Workbench, when I open/get a new segment, Word goes into re-calculating the pages in the document, which takes several seconds, before opening the segment for translation. How does one "make" Word stop doing this? I use Trados 2006 Freelance and Word 2003. Many thanks in advance.

Normal vs. Page Layout view Jan 23, 2009

Please note that you will not be able to access all the elements contained in the document if you work in Normal view, e.g. text boxes, headers & footers etc.

Therefore I'd recommend you to switch back to Page Layout view once you're done translating everything you can access in Normal view and check to see if you missed anything.

HTH,

Benjamin

Thanks, but my problem was that repaginating continued in both "normal" and "page layout" views.
