When aligning very big files (say, 50-100 pages long), which must stay open as work in progress in WinAlign for several days, how can I make sure that no work is lost, if, for example, a power cut should occur?

Thank you for your answer, Ralf! Are you sure the aligned pairs will also be saved in their current condition?

Hi again, Pavel,
Thank you for your answer, Ralf! Are you sure the aligned pairs will also be saved in their current condition?

Obviously I cannot give you a guarantee for your project (without knowing the details etc.), but this strategy has saved me a considerable amount of (re-)work on several occasions.

Cheers, Ralf
