I need to change several terms in many TTX-files.
Is it possible?

Synergy Feb 23, 2009

If you have Synergy, you can glue all the ttx files, make the corrections globally, then unglue them.

And you can "test-drive" your search expression in it by using Find in files, the matching results (lines) will be retrieved
into the current UE document, with information from which file they were retrieved.

SDL Trados Glue Feb 23, 2009

Wow! I have this utility sitting in my Program menu -- and I never knew it was there!

Dan, thank you for helping me find it.

I tried the Glue... Feb 23, 2009

It made some file, but on opening it Tag Editor showed "(400007): Error reading TTX file: Unterminated entity reference".
Any ideas?

Maybe there's an ampersand in a file link Feb 24, 2009

I got this error message some time ago when I tried to use Context TM (XTranslate) with .ttx files that had URLs with an ampersand (&) in them.
E.g. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=de
Usually this happens if the ampersand is followed by numbers.
I had to temporarily replace the & with another character to fix this issue.
Maybe you have the same problem.

Olaf
