Dear colleagues,

I've translated a word document on TagEditor.
At the end, when I make "Preview - target"
when I make "save target as" - .doc
the computers says:

"error while writing breaks".

In case I ask it again,
it also says: This Microsoft Word document cannot be opened because it is in Word 97 or earlier format.

What can I do to CLEAN the document?

Thank you in advance for your help.

This is a common error Feb 23, 2009

very well described here and at talisma.sdl.com
In short: open your orignal Word document in Word.
Use the search and replace function.
In "Search for" put "^b"
In "Replace with" put "^p^&" (of course without the quotation marks)
Replace all.
Save the doc.
If you have some luck, you now will be able to use the "Save target as..." funtion.
Otherwise you will need to recreate the ttx and translate it from TM.

For further explanations please be so kind and use the search function in this forum or consul talisma.sdl.com
