Hi,
I received a doc.ttx file form my client and translated it with TagEditor. I saved my translation in a bilingual file format. I would like to review my translation, but when I open the file in Word, it is an XML document packed with codes and I can hardly see the sentences I've translated.
Is there a possibility to see my translation without all the codes ???
Thanks for your help

Review in DOC Mar 3, 2009

Hi Hilde,
you will have to export the TTX back to DOC. Open the TTX file in TagEditor and go to File > Save target as...
But please note that TagEditor will need the original DOC to write your translation into a DOC file.

If you want to review your translation (i.e. not the final document layout or similar things), just open your translation in TagEditor again.

Thank you very much for your quick reply Stanislas. In this case I'm afraid I will have to review my translation 'between the tags', because the original document is a pdf, converted to Word, but with the text in boxes ....:-((

I will keep your advice though, it will be very usefull when I do receive a 'useable' Word file next time !

Thanks !!

Poor you. God save us from converted PDFs. Good luck then!
