I have to work with Trados 2007 and Word 2007. Since with Word 2003 the footnote handling was smooth (Alt+1 etc), I cannot find, how to translate footnotes with Word 2007. The Translator's Workbench Help explains, how to handle footnotes in Word 2000, XP and 2003, but there is not a word about 2007.
Is there a normal way of handling footnotes with Word 2007 and Trados 2007?

Footnote:
It is deeply annoying that you should somehow pottering around footnotes with this shamelessly expensive SW, and no acceptable support is available from SDL.

Use TagEditor instead Mar 3, 2009

and you will get rid not only of the footnote problem.

BTW; the Word interface is dying and will be discontinued with the new SDL Studio, which is supposed to appear later this year.

Use TE as suggested by Jerzy Mar 3, 2009

In fact, you will get rid of all problems with bookmarks and cross references (footnote is one of them). Using TE is the only decent way to handle them.
