Hi all,
I am not sure if that problem has already been discussed here (if so, just help me linking to the possible past discussion).
I've installed the Office 2007 suite, including Word 2007 (OS - Win XP). After installation and all the updates everything was fine. Then I've installed SDL Trados 2007 FL (SP2). After successfull installation there is a problem with closing Word window. It doesn't matter if Trados was used or not. Both Word and Trados work fine. I can successfully save... See more

I've installed the Office 2007 suite, including Word 2007 (OS - Win XP). After installation and all the updates everything was fine. Then I've installed SDL Trados 2007 FL (SP2). After successfull installation there is a problem with closing Word window. It doesn't matter if Trados was used or not. Both Word and Trados work fine. I can successfully save and close .doc and .docx files. But I can't close Word.
I had that problem before on my previous computer and hoped that will "solve itself" upon a fresh installation. But the problem persists.

Maybe conflicting used dll:s Mar 6, 2009

Have you tried to change the order of installation? I.e. Uninstall the two programs, reboot, install Trados first, reboot, _then_ installing MS Word?
