I can´t clean my inx.ttx file because of the following reason: "Could not process the file since file/file content size is large."
It´s the first time that this has happened to me.
I use SDL Trados freelance 2007.
Can anyone help me?
TIA,
Kobe

Why don´t you Save target as?
May 11, 2009
Hi!
I can´t understand why you want to clean a ttx file.
If what you need is a file in the target language, just go to File - Save target as...
All you need is the source file in the same folder.
Make a copy of the source file first, as it will be overwritten.
Hope this helps

Of course I also tried to "Safe target As", but the result is the same, i.e.: the source inx file is not overwritten with the target language and the same message appears.

A few ideas
May 12, 2009
1) search the forum as suggested earlier.
2) Download the latest InDesign filter hotfixes from talisma.sdl.com
3) Open the INX file in TagEditor anew and translate it with your current TM.
4) Try Clean-up or Save Target As...
If nothing works, you can export your TM into TMX and have the InDesign file translated in a different CAT tool, such as MemoQ or across. It's rather time-consuming, but it beats the alternatives.
