I experienced a problem when cleaning a bilingual .doc file translated with Trados Workbench.
Can you help to fix it out and give me some clues?

Please specify what kind of problem you encountered.

Is the formatting mixed up? If yes, then you may wish to search the SDL Trados Support forum for "formatting", "formatting problems", "changing font" or similar keywords. Make sure to select the appropriate forum in the Advanced forum search to reduce the number of hits.

Also, please specify which version of Trados and what OS you use -- it may make a difference.

Macro May 26, 2009

You did not describe your problem.

To clean up, you may do this after saving another copy of your bilingual file:

1. Go to Tool in Word
2. Select Macro
3. Select Macro - tw4winClean.Main
4. Click Run

The process is for Office 2003. You will get a clean translation file, but the TM is not updated.
