I have Trados 2007, licensed, and one of my computers where it was installed crashed. As a temporary measure I installed Trados in a different computer and activated it, and then when the original computer was fixed I tried to reinstall it, but now I get an error that indicates that I have ran out of installs. I understand that only one instance of Trados can run at the same time in the same network. But what about a reinstall. I have emailed Trados support but they have not answered, any ideas?

Licensing Jun 1, 2009

In fact, if you purchase Trados, you get two licenses that allow you to run Trados on two different machines (not over a LAN though, as you pointed out).
The most important thing before reinstalling your OS is to return the Trados license first. If you haven't done so, there's no way you can retrieve your second license. Perhaps SDL Support might grant you one extra license, but they are not obliged to do so. Anyways, you are elligible for free support on licensing issues, so I expect the SDL support staff to contact you soon.
