Hi all
I was working on a translation in Trados while my laptop got overheated and blacked out.
Now, when I've opened up the files again, the TM seems to be not communicating properly with the application.
It shows "no match" for words and phrases that were already entered, and when I try to enter the words manually I get a message saying that this segment already exists in the iix file, and I'm not allowed to enter it anew.
In other words, Trados knows that I have already entered these segments, but won't apply them to the file I have opened.
So I'm sort of stuck.
Anybody has experience with this sort of trouble?

Have you tried using the "Reorganize" function?

Sometimes reorganizing the TM solves glitches like this one.

open iix file?

Is there a way to view the info in the iix file?
Since the segments are in that file, maybe I could copy and paste from there? At least I won't have to do the entire job again...

iix is nothing

You can delete all the files but TMW. They will be re-created as you hook up the TM from TWB.
Try exporting to TMX and back into a new TM.

not that either

Thanks Sergei, but that didn't do the trick either.
When I delete the files, the TMW won't even open.
