Here are the formats that are supported : - Translation Memory Exchange Documents (*.tmx, * .tmz.gz) - SDL XLIFF Bilingual Documents (*.sdlxliff) - TRADOStag Documents (*.ttx) - SDL Edit Documents (*.itd)
If you only have the TXT file, I would create a new memory with SDL Trados 2007 Freelance Suite and import the TXT file.
Once you created your memory that way, you can either upgrade it with the "upgrade memory" fonction in Trados Studio 2009 or export its content to a TMX file and import that TMX in your Trados Studio 2009 memory.
