Studio 2009 TM maintenance: how to delete any TUs depending on filter?

I had imported >200k TUs when I started working with Studio 2009, but now I want to delete all TUs in the TM, that are older than 15th June 2009 (mainly retain all TUs created with Studio 2009).
I cannot find something like "batch delete" or so. Any idea?

I tried exporting everything after the date, but retrying to import that file into a new TM resulted in half of the TUs being not imported (reported as "errors").

Hi,

There's a Batch Delete in TM Maintenance, accessible through the File menu or through a TM's context menu (right mouse button). You should define the filter first in the Search Details window, as there is no "New Filter" command in the batch delete dialog (something for ideas.sdl.com).

Then, and this is very important, you should save the filter before using it, otherwise it is not really used even though you can see it in the option for "Batch Delete" and you could delete all of your TU's as oppose to only the ones you wanted to delete.

One further piece of advice, although I am sure you do this anyway, it's recommended to perform a complete backup of the TM (or a full export) prior to batch deletions (or batch edits).

I hope this helps.
