Trados installation and start up 2009

Ten days ago I bought a Trados upgrade from 2007 FL to 2009 FL Suite,as well a complete 2009 FL Suite for my wife. Up to now I have been battling to unstall it and get it running with little success. I never had any problems with it when I first bought 2007 FL 2 years ago.
I go through all the steps/procedures as instructed and then it works for a short time and the just stops. I start SDLX up and all goes well and then it just stops and has to be started again. each time I start 2009 I keep on getting a pop-up to fill in my license numer/activation code. After doing this and starting up I get the same pop-up with the same request.
Can anybody pleeease help/ give some advice on this matter?

Same here with Suite 2007 Jun 29, 2009

This happened to me when I upgraded to the Suite. After several "activations" (every time I called the program), I decided to cancel the message; it never asked for it again and I haven't had a problem since.

Richard, if you have a problem with the actual installation (not the activation), when you download the program, don't click on Open, save the installer and run it directly from your computer. After following all the installation steps, you need to re-start your computer.
