My version:

TagEditor Trados

Window XP SP3

Working file: htm, Times New Roman

Both source default font and target default font in TM are set to Times new roman

Tag type font: Times new roman

I also setup default font in Word 2003 as Times new roman.

The font in Tag Editor keeps changing to Arial, and different fonts, formats.

Appreciate any solution from you.

(I used to work well with Tag Editor for several times)

I have no experience with Vietnamese-specific font problems Jul 23, 2009

but I notice font changes in TE from time to time myself. It is not a problem, though, because it is the tags in the target document that are responsible for the formatting.

In your case, I suspect that everything is ok, except for the encoding defined in your target HTML file. Try opening it in your browser, Go to View > Encoding (or similar), and try selecting various possible encodings, including Unicode, UTF-8 and UTF-16. If you find one that works, you might consider changing the encoding manually in the target files or - better still - inform your client and ask if they want you to do so.
