SDL Trados Studio 2009 keeps blocking

Bought and installed SDL Trados Studio 2009.
When working in a Word document of about 10 pages, in SDL Trados Studio, the software blocks. I get an hourglass and nothing functions any more - 'SDL Trados Studio 2009 is not responding' is the Windows message I get. I have to close and restart the program - every 5 to 10 minutes.
Has anyone had the same problem and found a solution?

I have the very same problem, in addition to a whole slew of other ones with Studio 2009, but there is no solution whatsoever in sight. Maybe they will fix it with service pack 1, who knows... but for now, money down the drain and back to the previous release of Trados, otherwise in addition to wasted money, wasted time too.
