How can I integrate a txt translation memory in Trados Workbench.

Hi Olieslagers,

In your wordfast toolbar go to "TM editor" ---- "Tools" ----"Filter"----"special filters"---choose "export TM as TMX

If I understand you well, you have a txt file that you need to add to a TM, to an already existing memory file. These are instructions for anything prior to Studio 2009, which I will not buy for now, not until they iron all the wrinkles.

Open your Workbench
Open your TM
Select File
Select Import
Specify whether small or large txt file
Add name of txt file
Wait for the operation to finish
All your txt terms are now added to your TM.

And go the other way around: Export, to a txt file, in case you wish to take your TM with you to another computer or place, or send it to your client.
