I'm using Trados Studio 2009 on Windows XP Pro SP2 (English version).
I finished translating Eng to Japanese and perform cleanup, but the target file is all garbled charcters.
I chose UTF-8, Shift-JIS, and EUC as encoding, but the results are all the same.
I even modified the first line in sdlxliff, deleting "encoding=utf-8" part, but still the same.
I was able to export the TM to 2007 version and perform auto-translation, and it comes out OK.
But I would like to find a way to cleanup with Studio 2009.
Could anyone help please? This is the translation that has to be done ASAP... feeling really depressed.
