Reinstall Sep 5, 2009

If you reinstall Multiterm, it will be recreated. It's the only way I know, although there may be another way.

Reinstall Multiterm only if really necessary.
The Multiterm setup routines were a crap an you may have seriours problem to reinstall it correctly.

Rrplace the corrupt file by the backup from C:\Program Files\SDL International\Multiterm 2007\Templates
I assume you have Win XP and MT 2007.
If not, the paths are somehow similar

BTW.
Uninstall MS Office Live components.
This MS crap causes Multiterm template corruption.

Fear of reinstallation Sep 5, 2009

thank you for your warning about reinstallation, Grzegorz. You are right, I remember that somthing allways goes wrong, and I bought a preferent support fee for some two years ago, just to get SDL running on my actual computer.

Please, tell me more about the MS Office live componets to uninstall (paths, names, etc.) I would do so...

Thank you as well, Daniel. SDL recomended me reinstallation of the program first, but then they sent me the template again, atached to an eMail, and I substituted it. Multi Term works now, but I have an error advice opening and closing Word, somethinge about automatization (error de automatización, en español).

thank you all again, Thomas

I always find it's a tricky commercial practice to make the setup routines so bad an make the people pay for the support

First, close all the MS Office applications.
Go to Control Panel, select Add or Remve Programs, search for MS Office Live Add-in.
If found, uninstall it.

MS Office Live workspace Sep 5, 2009

Practlcally, none.
It's only an extension which permits to save MS Office documents directly on the web on the MS Office Live workspace account.
I suppose you don't use it
