Hi everyone!

I'm using Office 2003, Windows XP and SDL TRADOS 2007.

I have to word.docs to translate, both of them containing a Table of Contents (since I'm using a German Office version, I'm not sure if this is really the right term in English).

When trying to access the TOC in the word.doc (displayed in grey), the SDL Trados Translators Workbench displays this error: (33353): end of paragraph not found.

The rest of the .doc can be translated normally.

Any ideas how to "open" translation units in the TOC?

Thanks,
Roy

Don't translate it Sep 11, 2009

Word will create the TOC after translation. So do not touch the TOC.
Regards
Heinrich

"update field" Sep 11, 2009

Thanks, that did the trick. After translating the headlines in the document, I need to right-click on the TOC and then "update fields" (or "Felder aktualisieren" in the German version). As stated, Word will then update the TOC.

Thanks,
Roy

This "problem" (which rather is a feature) frequently reoccurs, your question has been asked and answered before. A quick forum search:
