1.

When I clean up the files either "save as" from tageditor or "clean up" from workbench, it add this line to my files:
Code:

I don't need this, because these files are going to process with another software. That will break the result.

2.

When I finished clean up, the resulting file encode was changed from "UTF-8" to "ANSI", I don't want to change that.

3.

Tageditor remove line break of none HTML tags, for example:
Code:

< tags go on>

will be converted into
Code:

< tags go on>

This is not good for me.

4.

It add some strange characters at beginning of the files when opened in tageditor:

I guess this is a file encode format related problem.

I can do some extra work to sovle these problems but 3rd one. Any suggestion?

Here is what I did.

1. Can be config in
Tag Settings -> Properties -> Elements -> Advanced

2.Even the file encode is UTF-8 with BOM, Tageditor won't generate an UTF-8 file unless set page code to UTF-8, so I have to add one line to every file and remove it after cleaned which is quite easy with replacement function.

3. As No. 1

4. Gibberish disappear when page code is set.
