Please help, my client send me some files in word to review with Trados 2007 and I am having this problem:
Suddenly, the Memory Unit doesnt respond... If a try to close or save the segment or do ANYTHING at all it doesn´t work... and I can´t move forward because it keep saying that the translation unit is open! Even I copied and pasted the whole doc. and start over but it is the same... Please, what can I do?? So far it happened with 2 files.
Thanks a lot!

Fix document Oct 26, 2009

Hello Maria Paz,

simply use fix document from the Trados dropdown menu.

If it doesn't work, kill MSWord via task manager (if Trados "thinks" that a segment is opened, it won't let you close MSword). After re-opening the document double-check it with the original you got and see if there is for ex. any empty segment with tags or anything else corrupted.
