Please I need help! I want to now if it is possible to save an SDL XLIFF (trados studio 2009) doc as unclean (bilingual) in order to be open with Trados 2007.
My client doesn´t have Trados 2007.
Thanks!

You can't save billingual Word files from Trados 2009 Nov 5, 2009

What you can do is just save the target doc.
If your customer insists on Word uncleaned (grrr), then export your TM from Studio to tmx format. Create a new TM in Trados 2007, import the TM content and translate the file as billingual doc, using the "Translate" function from Tools in Workbench. After that open the file in Word and edit remaining untranslated segments. This is the only way to get a billingual Word doc, when working with Studio.
But you can easily deliver a Tageditor-Word-file (ttx), which is also billingual.

Switch to TM window view (in Studio) Nov 5, 2009

Open the TM there, right click on it and chose "Export" (or select the corresponding item form menu). Select the location of the file and assign a file name.
That's all.
