When I try to preview I get an error - Version 9.1.1107.0

Hi!

I'm starting using Trados and I get an error when I try to preview:

An error occurred while converting fields back to Microsoft Word format: Possible field(s) deletion.

I do not know what this means, I don't even know how to delete a field.

If someone could help me I would appreciate it a lot.

The preview was working fine before, but now it stopped.

Worse, you cannot save the target file: same message.

Hi Again!

A friend tell me the solution (he had the same problem too)

The fields that in the source contain the FIELD labels (the PURPLE ones) must be kept exactly the same way in the target field.

So the best way is to copy the origin segment to the target segment, and then translate the words.

It worked for me and I hope to you too!

OK colleagues - I got it.

As we say here in the USA - DUH!!!!!!

Missing tag! Run the verifier (F8) to find out which tag is missing.

Make sure you have the tags visible as you are editing, at least the partial tax text (blue diamonds on upper right part of tool bar in Editor).

Even though we have WSIWYG with Studio, we have not left the horrible world of tags behind completely!

Reinstall all Nov 21, 2009

Uninstall and install all apps of Trados 2009 an Multiterm.
Now it works like a sharm.
