After working on several files with the EN-ES language pair, I now need to work on a couple of ES-EN files.

Opening the files in Studio with the Open Document command (I don't need or want to create a project) results in my EN-ES TM opening up, how can I switch to my ES-EN TM?

Thanks in advance,

Nora

Just in case somebody else needs to do this:

In Editor view, go to Options - Editor - Languages, and check the "Prompt for document languages if they cannot be detected automatically" box.

You can configure a default Translation Memory pro language pair Nov 24, 2009

and you can also define one for each file you are opening or for all new created projects.

And how can we switch memories? Nov 24, 2009

Thank you, Jerzy.

Is there an easy way to switch memories? Say that I opened a document with a default memory and then realized I have a better memory for that document, is there a quick way of switching like what we have in SDLX or older Trados versions?

Use the Project Settings button Nov 24, 2009

located in the left upper corner of TM view window in Editor for example.
Or go to Project view, select the Project (even if you open a single file, a corresponding project will be there) and right click on it to get to project properties. There you can configure all what you need - add TM, remove TM, change the order of TMs and so on.
