Hi!

I vaguely remember that SDLX would display the character count of a source and target segment somewhere on the screen, but somehow I can't find/see it. Is that memory false, am I just to blind to see or do I need to change some setting?

Thanks,
Daniel

SDLX 2007: Character count of a segment Apr 7, 2011

Hi,

Sorry, if this comes late.

In the menu, Go to 'View' and click on 'Status Bar'. Then you can see the character count and the language pair at the bottom of the SDL Edit window.

Cheers,
Peter

How to view the character count - quick note May 31, 2011

Just a short additional note: In order to view the character count, you will have to select all the characters in the segment.
